My Home

Our Room

This is the room that Mimi and I share. We used to have separate rooms because Mommy and Daddy thought that we'd prefer that, but it's a lot more fun being together. Once we got to sleep in the same room, the next step was to get to sleep in the same bed there's plenty of room in the bed after all! This was hard to do while I still had a crib but once I was in a normal bed there was no stopping us. Finally Mommy and Daddy gave in and removed the other bed, and here were are.

Mommy also decorated our bedroom in our favourite colours - pink and purple. There's also a lot of princess pictures on the walls - it's a real girls room! Much as I like the Disney princesses I really love Dora and you can see my cushion and pillow on my side of the bed (by the wall). I really hope Santa brings me the Dora Princess for Christmas ...

As you can see we always like to sleep together

This is my old bedroom, but it's changed a lot since I moved out!

Pools and Swings

The big change that we've made to the house was the installation of a pool in the back garden! This took a long time and meant that our swing set had to be moved but it was a lot of fun being able to go and swim whenever we wanted. Sierra and Susannah's daddy is a builder and he made a great deck around the edge of the pool, so now we can have pool parties for my birthday every year!

Daddy also had to do a lot of work to get the swing set back up as there was no flat area in the garden to set it up in. He spent a long time in the back garden working on it, but finally we got our swings back. Now all we need is to get a stable and a pony fitted into the garden and we will be all set!

Below you can see how the garden changed because of the pool

This is the old location of the swingset - it's the middle of the pool now!

We had to even move the gas line which ran right under where the men had to dig to put in the pool.

You can see how deep the pool is here.

And here's the new play area that Daddy made.

Now that all the work's over we might get visitors again (look carefully in the middle of the flower bed).
